- The ConnectEd Home Learners’ Program is a teacher-led distributed learning program that provides options for families who prefer to have their students educated in the home or who require time-tabling flexibility. Learning resources are provided at no cost and are linked directly to provincial learning outcomes. Students are provided with a laptop for home use and $500 course enhancement funding. The SD67 Home Learners' program has a strong sense of community which is fostered through field trips and face-to-face classes offered throughout the year.

Fantastic to see this up and running! Just to let parents in the Summerland area who may be doing the My Community unit for a few different grades the Summerland Museum is a fantastic place to go. I took our kids and Rayna documented Summerland with her camera and made a poster. Also the curator is very helpful, her name is Sharon Stone and has many presentations and worksheets to fill out. She also took pictures of our kids and me and said they will be on their website. Hours and more info can be found at http://www.summerlandmuseum.org/
